Albreas are handmade in the red desert mountains of Southern Utah. The patent pending stitching patterns, sewn with elastic thread, create a unique puckering stretchable fabric, designed to make an extremely soft, luxurious throw.  One of the goals of the designers is to calm the user in a simple and natural way. Using trapped air for warmth, it also creates a rich texture that is beautiful, but also allows for stretching. An Albrea is a very unusual and comforting throw that actually hugs you when using it, reducing stress.
